This new Italian restaurant in Marbella has already established itself as a firm favourite with those who like Italy’s fantastic cuisine. The interior is both stylish and quirky and will definitely appeal to those who enjoy top quality fresh pasta, as well as references to ‘The Godfather’ films. However, in this respect, the décor is never kitsch; the theme has been handled with a delicate touch. The menu includes everyone’s favourite Italian dishes, including a mouth-watering meat or vegetable lasagne. And, the risotto at La Mafia is everything it should be. The pizzas are comparable to those you can buy in Naples and they even have ‘super’ pizzas that are an ideal size for sharing in a group. La Mafia offers an ambience that is both romantic and family oriented – a bit like Italy!
